Thanks to everybody for the nice comments...
mcassimatis, I am so touched by your comment, that you love this photo and others. Jack and Sofe are fine, thanks. I have been inspired by your comment to post the photos I have taken more recently. I haven't had time to take that many, though. Thanks again!

2002-12-19 20-35-00 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!:
I love this picture: the way they are looking right at me, so directly and intelligently; the way they are sitting right up next to each other like best buds.
Every time I look at Jack's face, especially, I am delighted.
This is my most favorite photo of cats that I haven't met.
The 'what shall we do now we're up here?' and 'brother & sisterly love' pics are close seconds. and Guardians of the Shed is lovely, as is the one of Jack leaning down from above and as 'cat on a warmish shed roof.' But this one, most of all, I keep coming back to look at.
How are your mogs doing these days? Will you be posting any more photos?

so this photo is December 2002 and brother-sister-love where they are little bittles is September so they are still really rather young here. On the cusp of non-kitten-hood? this is the one photo I think that is both in Kittens (Set) and Cats (Set). and then this one is put for comparison with photo of "2005-12-07 20-49-17" that makes me feel sad, bcs all grown up? but it's only 3 years later, they are still young kit cats! still the 'they grow up so quickly' oh we all do.

Willy the tortoise
Willy the Tortoise comes home - Yahoo! News
In this photo released by Kellie Copeland-Burnup via the Post and Courier, Willy, a tortoise, belonging to Kellie, walks past the family dog Sunday, Aug. 21, 2006, in Ridgeville, S.C. After a month on the lam,
the 40-pound tortoise with a 2-foot-wide, gold-colored shell is back in the wading pool at his owner's home. Kellie reported the tortoise escaped about July 1. A local emergency medical services technician spotted Willy on Sunday along a rural road about five miles away. oh! and brought him home, yay. During six weeks on the run, Willy averaged .005 mph, well short of a new land speed record. (AP Photo/Kellie Copeland-Burnup via the Post and Courier)
wasn't the cat named Willy too? -yes. (below.)
huh. that was the last time I looked at Yahoo photos (on sbc page).

monkey squirrel
He looks like a little Golem when he is all stretched out. He seemed to enjoy climbing around exploring the world with his newly openned eyes. He was eventually set free when he became big enough to fend for himself.

Little Eastern Grey Squirrel. He was found by a friend who was taking care of him. His eyes had just openned the day before, he was so young we had to feed him formula from a tiny dropper. I like to think of squirrels as the little monkeys of North America.

I love this move, these pants. rw linked as "inspiration". I love that she is trying dance moves after seeing a dance performance the day before.
